He was listed on the Becker County Census (1870); I included him on the database because he was listed in the household of Patrick Quinlan, who married an Indian woman, Charlotte Maydwaaushshebug.

These databases were 'in process' - still drafts - when my husband (and research partner) died in 1997; I've put them online for the purpose of sharing the information that we spent a lot of years compiling.

I have found the name of one of my husband's relatives on your website
and would like to know what that means. William Behmer was a Dutch
immigrant who married my husband's 3rd great grandmother in 1859. They
were living in the Carver, Mn area at the time. This was her 2nd
marriage and I believe he was quite a bit younger than she was. When
they both died, they were not living in the same town but we have no
divorce record or any information about re-marriage for William.
Because he is included in your database, does that mean he was married
to, related to, or living with someone of Indian descent? As far as I
know, he died in LeSeur County, MN and was destitute at the time of his
death.

I would like to know how your information was obtained or if there is
anything further on William Behmer available. Please feel free to
contact me at my email address. Thank you, Elaine Tennant
