Albert/Charles & Jacob LaViolettes parents were Jean Baptiste LaViolette and his wife Nancy Paul. They lived in St. John, North Dakota and were one of the first family's that pioneered St. John before father Malo and his followers settled in to what is presently St. John, North Dakota.
