1.  Jane1 Bowless (19371.66AW Oneida Indian) was born circa 1851 in PA.[1]  She married Josiah Cyrus Parkhurst (19371.66A), son of Jabez Kingsbury Parkhurst (19371.66) and Delana Child(s) (19371.66W), as his first wife.[2]

       She was enumerated during the 1870 Census on 6 June 1870 in the household of Josiah Cyrus Parkhurst (19371.66A) in Durand, Pepin Co., WI.[3]  She was keeping house on 6 June 1870.[4]

 

       Josiah Cyrus Parkhurst (19371.66A) was born on 13 February 1843 in De Kalb, St. Lawrence Co., NY.[5]  He married Frances S. Wilkerson (19371.66AX), daughter of Moses Wilkerson and Lucy unknown, on 18 March 1874 in Orange Co., TX, as his second wife.[6]  He died on 21 March 1907 in Orange Co., TX, at age 64.[7]  He was buried in 1907 in Evergreen Cemetery, Orange, Orange Co., TX, Plot 4.[8],[9]  Josiah and Jeriah were twins.  He was enumerated during the 1850 Census on 6 August 1850 in the household of James Monroe Parkhurst (19371.661) in Beloit, Rock Co., WI.[10]  He was enumerated during the 1860 Census on 21 June 1860 in the household of Jabez Kingsbury Parkhurst (19371.66) in Avon, Rock Co., WI, as Parker.[11]  He was a day laberor who had also attended school during the past year on 21 June 1860.[12]  He served in the Civil War.[13]  He was enumerated during the 1870 Census on 6 June 1870 in Durand, Pepin Co., WI, included in Josiah's 1870 census household: Jane Bowless (19371.66AW Oneida Indian).[14]  He was a laborer who received his mail at the Durand Post Office on 6 June 1870.[15]  He was also known as Joshua Parkhurst.[16]  He was enumerated during the 1880 Census on 1 June 1880 in Precinct 1, Orange, Orange Co., TX, included in Josiah's 1880 census household: Frances S. Wilkerson (19371.66AX), Delana J. Parkhurst (19371.66A2), and Eva R. Parkhurst (19371.66A5).[17]  Sirus [sic] was a house carpenter.[18]  He was enumerated during the 1900 Census on 20 June 1900 in Precinct 1, Orange, Orange Co., TX, included in Josiah's 1900 census household: Frances S. Wilkerson (19371.66AX), Eva R. Parkhurst (19371.66A5), Reuben Riley Harrison (19371.66A5W), Ann Christiania Parkhurst (19371.66A7), Eugene A. Parkhurst (19371.66A9), Elmer Fredrick Parkhurst (19371.66AA), Edith B. Parkhurst (19371.66AB), Bertha Maria Parkhurst (19371.66AC), John C. Harrison (19371.66A51), and Josiah C. Parker (19371.66A71).[19]  He was a car loader in a saw mill on 20 June 1900.[20]

2.  Charles Duffy2 Parkhurst (19371.66A1 Half Indian) (Jane1Bowless) was born on 1 October 1873 in Oneida Indian Reservation, Outagamie Co., WI.[21]  He married Agnes Delory (19371.66A1W), daughter of Theofield De Lfuia, circa 1901 as his first wife.[22]  He married Nora Geraldine Martinez (19371.66A1X), daughter of Manuel Louis Martinez and Mary unknown, circa 1913 as his second wife.[23]  He died on 21 April 1952 in Red Lake Indian Hospital, Redlake, Beltrami Co., MN, at age 78 According to his death record, Charles was half American indian and died from chronic nephritis.[24],[25]  He was buried on 24 April 1952 in Redlake Catholic Cemetery, Redlake, Beltrami Co., MN.[26]

       He was also known as Charles Douglas Parkhurst.  He was enumerated during the 1910 Census on 25 April 1910 in U.S. Indian Industrial School, Genoa Twp., Nance Co., NE, included in Charles' 1910 census household: Agnes Delory (19371.66A1W), Earl Joshua Parkhurst (19371.66A13), Carl Llewellyn Parkhurst (19371.66A13), and Agnes G. Parkhurst (19371.66A11).[27]  He was an employee of the school on 25 April 1910.[28]  He was a farmer on 24 March 1913.[29]  He was enumerated during the 1920 Census on 13 April 1920 in Twp. 41 Range 44, Washington Co., SD, included in Charles' 1920 census household: Nora Geraldine Martinez (19371.66A1X), Charles Douglas Parkhurst, Jr. (19371.66A14), Earl Joshua Parkhurst (19371.66A13), Carl Llewellyn Parkhurst (19371.66A13), Lawrence Parkhurst (19371.66A15), and Collins M. Parkhurst (19371.66A16).[30]  He was renting his home from John M. Clifford on 13 April 1920.[31]  He was enumerated during the 1930 Census on 8 April 1930 in Red Lake Indian Reservation, Beltrami Co., MN, included in Charles' 1930 census household: Nora Geraldine Martinez (19371.66A1X), Charles Douglas Parkhurst, Jr. (19371.66A14), Lawrence Parkhurst (19371.66A15), Collins M. Parkhurst (19371.66A16), Elizabeth Ann Parkhurst (19371.66A19), Patrick Lloyd Parkhurst (19371.66A1A), Lillian Agatha Parkhurst (19371.66A17), and Murphy Nolan Parkhurst (19371.66A18).[32]  He was held a civil service job working for the Indian Department and paid $15 per month for rent on 8 April 1930.[33]  Charles' nationality recorded on 8 April 1930 was Oneida indian.[34]

 

       Agnes Delory (19371.66A1W)[35] was born on 1 April 1882 in ND.[36],[37]  She died on 11 April 1913 in Mohave City, Mahave Co., AZ, at age 31 from pullmonary tuberculosis according to her death record.[38]  She was buried on 12 April 1913 in Needles, Mahave Co., AZ.[39]  She was also known as Agnes De Laurie.[40]  She was enumerated during the 1910 Census on 25 April 1910 in the household of Charles Duffy Parkhurst (19371.66A1 Half Indian) as his wife in U.S. Indian Industrial School, Genoa Twp., Nance Co., NE.[41]  She was also known as Mary Agnes.

       Children of Charles Duffy2 Parkhurst (19371.66A1 Half Indian) and Agnes Delory (19371.66A1W) were as follows:

                           iv.           Charles Douglas Parkhurst, Jr. (19371.66A14) was born on 24 March 1913 in Mahave City, Mahave Co., AZ.[42]  Or perhaps he was born on 27 March 1913 in Fort Mahave, Mahave City, Mahave Co., AZ.[43]  He died on 19 August 1973 at age 60.[44]

       He was enumerated during the 1920 Census on 13 April 1920 in the household of Charles Duffy Parkhurst (19371.66A1 Half Indian) as Charles Duffy's son in Twp. 41 Range 44, Washington Co., SD.[45]  He was enumerated during the 1930 Census on 8 April 1930 in the household of Charles Duffy Parkhurst (19371.66A1 Half Indian) as Charles Duffy's son in Red Lake Indian Reservation, Beltrami Co., MN.[46]  Charles' nationality recorded on 8 April 1930 was Oneida indian.[47]  Charles was living in Klamath Falls, OR in 1936 when he applied for his Social Security number.[48]

 

       Nora Geraldine Martinez (19371.66A1X) was born on 13 November 1893 in Pine Ridge, Shannon Co., SD.[49],[50]  She died on 12 February 1965 in Beltrami Co., MN, at age 71.[51],[52]  She was enumerated during the 1920 Census on 13 April 1920 in the household of Charles Duffy Parkhurst (19371.66A1 Half Indian) as his wife in Twp. 41 Range 44, Washington Co., SD.[53]  She was enumerated during the 1930 Census on 8 April 1930 in the household of Charles Duffy Parkhurst (19371.66A1 Half Indian) as Charles Duffy's wife in Red Lake Indian Reservation, Beltrami Co., MN.[54]  Nora's nationality recorded on 8 April 1930 was Sioux indian.[55]

       Children of Charles Duffy2 Parkhurst (19371.66A1 Half Indian) and Nora Geraldine Martinez (19371.66A1X) were as follows:

                              i.           Lawrence3 Parkhurst (19371.66A15) was born on 13 May 1915 in Pine Ridge, Shannon Co., SD.[56],[57]  He died in March 1981 in Rantoul, Franklin Co., KS probably, at age 65.[58]

       He was enumerated during the 1920 Census on 13 April 1920 in the household of Charles Duffy Parkhurst (19371.66A1 Half Indian) as Charles Duffy's son in Twp. 41 Range 44, Washington Co., SD.[59]  He was enumerated during the 1930 Census on 8 April 1930 in the household of Charles Duffy Parkhurst (19371.66A1 Half Indian) as Charles Duffy's son in Red Lake Indian Reservation, Beltrami Co., MN.[60]  Lawrence's nationality recorded on 8 April 1930 was Sioux indian.

                             ii.           Collins M. Parkhurst (19371.66A16) was born on 14 October 1917 in Pine Ridge, Shannon Co., SD.[61]  He died on 5 July 1936 in Red Lake Indian Hospital, Redlake, Beltrami Co., MN, at age 18 from injuries received while riding in an automobile on the Red Lake Indian Reservation according to his death record.[62],[63]  He was buried on 6 July 1936 in Redby, Beltrami Co., MN.[64]

       He was enumerated during the 1920 Census on 13 April 1920 in the household of Charles Duffy Parkhurst (19371.66A1 Half Indian) as Charles Duffy's son in Twp. 41 Range 44, Washington Co., SD.[65]  He was enumerated during the 1930 Census on 8 April 1930 in the household of Charles Duffy Parkhurst (19371.66A1 Half Indian) as Charles Duffy's son in Red Lake Indian Reservation, Beltrami Co., MN.[66]  Collins' nationality recorded on 8 April 1930 was Sioux indian.[67]  He was a student.

3.  Agnes G.3 Parkhurst (19371.66A11) (Charles Duffy2, Jane1Bowless)[68],[69],[70] was born circa 1902.[71]  She married Simon N. Stateley, son of Fannie unknown, circa 1919.

       She was enumerated during the 1910 Census on 25 April 1910 in the household of Charles Duffy Parkhurst (19371.66A1 Half Indian) as Charles Duffy's daughter in U.S. Indian Industrial School, Genoa Twp., Nance Co., NE.[72]  She was enumerated during the 1930 Census on 3 April 1930 in the household of Fannie unknown as Fannie's daughter-in-law in Red Lake Indian Reservation, Beltrami Co., MN.[73]

 

       Simon N. Stateley was born circa 1896 in MN.  He was enumerated during the 1930 Census on 3 April 1930 in the household of Fannie unknown as Fannie's son in Red Lake Indian Reservation, Beltrami Co., MN.[74]  He was a laborer on 3 April 1930.[75]  He was also known as Simon Stateler on 29 September 1938.[76]

       Children of Agnes G.3 Parkhurst (19371.66A11) and Simon N. Stateley were as follows:

                              i.           Simon N.4 Stately Junior was born on 19 February 1931.[77]  He died on 12 October 1996 in Hennepin Co., MN, at age 65.[78]

                             ii.           John L. Stately was born on 10 November 1935.[79]  He died on 7 June 1985 in Hennepin Co., MN, at age 49.[80]

                            iii.           Alberta Loretta Stateley was born on 29 September 1938 in Beltrami Co., MN.[81]

       She was also known as Alberta Loretta Stateler on 29 September 1938.[82]

 

4.  Earl Joshua3 Parkhurst (19371.66A13) (Charles Duffy2, Jane1Bowless) was born on 11 September 1903 in Oneida Indian Reservation, Outagamie Co., WI.[83],[84]  He married Gertrude Mercy Eagle (19371.66A12.W), daughter of Daniel Blackeagle and Susan Eagle.[85]  He married Shirley Constance Bennett.[86]  He died on 7 July 1980 in St. Paul, Ramsey Co., MN, at age 76.[87],[88]

       He was enumerated during the 1910 Census on 25 April 1910 in the household of Charles Duffy Parkhurst (19371.66A1 Half Indian) as Charles Duffy's son in U.S. Indian Industrial School, Genoa Twp., Nance Co., NE.[89]  He was also known as Joshua E.[90]  He was enumerated during the 1920 Census on 13 April 1920 in the household of Charles Duffy Parkhurst (19371.66A1 Half Indian) as Charles Duffy's son in Twp. 41 Range 44, Washington Co., SD.[91]  He was enumerated during the 1930 Census on 26 April 1930 in Crow Creek Indian Reservation, Buffalo Co., SD, included in Earl's 1930 census household: Gertrude Mercy Eagle (19371.66A12.W) and Earl Joshua Parkhurst Junior as Park Horst.[92]  He was a house painter on 26 April 1930.  Earl's nationality recorded on 26 April 1930 was Oneida indian.

 

       Gertrude Mercy Eagle (19371.66A12.W) was also known as Gertrude Mercy Blackeagle.[93]  She also went by the name of Gertie.  She was enumerated during the 1930 Census on 26 April 1930 in the household of Earl Joshua Parkhurst (19371.66A13) as Earl Joshua's wife in Crow Creek Indian Reservation, Buffalo Co., SD, as Park Horst.[94]  Gertrude's nationality recorded on 26 April 1930 was Chippewa indian.

       Children of Earl Joshua3 Parkhurst (19371.66A13) and Gertrude Mercy Eagle (19371.66A12.W) were as follows:
