Robert E. Whitefeather, 57, of Aberdeen, S.D. died Saturday, Oct 15, 1994 at
Wahpeton, N.D.
Services are at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Ponemah Community Center, in the
Indian custom. Interment will be in the family burial ground at Ponemah. A
wake begins at noon Wednesday at the Ponemah Community Center. Arrangements
are by the Snustad Funeral Home of Blackduck.
Honorary pallbearers are Phillip Whitefeather, Gary Holybull, McKinley
Auginash, George White, Art Smith and Johnson Kingbird. Active pallbearers
will be Anthonly Peters, David Waconda, Frank Waconda, Royce Kingberd, Severt
Youngbear Jr. and George Squirrel Coat.
Mr. Whitefeather was born April 1, 1937 to Nathan Whitefeather and Johanna
Whitefeather.
He is survived by his wife, Florecne Whitefeather; a daughter, Cheryl Winger
of Gallup, N.M.,; four grandchildren; a brother, Phillip Whitefeather of
Minneapolis; a sister, Nellie Mae Burke of Redby; and several nieces and
nephews.
