charge of the Mississippi Chippewa when he died.

Centuries"), p. 42, Song-a-cumig worked more 'behind the scenes' [than his
brother Hole-in-the-Day]; but by the time Song-a-cumig died in his late
forties, he had taken no less than 38 Dakotas with
him.
