!NAME: Cadotte, Mrs. [WWW]

!LCCN: E99.C6W32 (1984 Reprint), [William W. Warren, "History of the Ojibway
People," p.10], a woman of the A-waus-e clan, lived with her husband at Sault
Ste. Marie.  Mrs. Cadotte is described by Alexander Henry as being a woman of
great energy and tact, and force of character.  She aided her husband in his
trading operations, sometimes undertaking long expeditions with coureurs du
bois for
him.
