!GENEALOGY_COMPILED_BY_VIRGINIA_ROGERS: Broken Tooth Genealogy, married
Indian custom; he was the son of a Wilkins or a Vasseur (testimony gives both)
and Nah-wah-dah-quod-oquay. He had at least one other wife, Pe-she-go-quay.
He is probably the Wa-bose, or The Rabbit [translation] who signed the treaty of
1937 at St. Peters, Wisconsin Territory, as being from Leech Lake and a
Warrior. He may also be the Wah-boose who settled early on Leech Lake and for
whom the Rabbit Reservation and Wah-boose bay are
named.
