Obituary, The Pioneer, Bemidji, Minnesota, Sunday, DEC 15, 1991: "Agnes S.
Lussier, 83, of Redby died Friday, Dec. 13, 1991, at North Country Regional
Hospital.
   "Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Mission Catholic
Church, Redlake, with the Rev. Bill Mehrkens officiating.  Visitation is
scheduled after 1 p.m. today and until 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Redby Community
Center.  Interment will be in Redlake Catholic Cemetery, under the direction
of the Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home.
   Pallbearers will be Randy Brenny, Terry Lussier, Douglas Lewis, Adolph
Ellingworth, and Bert and Adam Lussier.
   "Mrs. Lussier was born JUL 8, 1908, at Redlake to James and Jane Sumner.
Shew grew up there and attended St. Mary's Mission School at Redlake and also
attended boarding school in Flandreau, S.D.  She then attended Bemidji State
University and earned a bachelor of science degree in special education.  She
married Adolph Lussier MAY 8, 1928, at Red Lake.  They lived in Redlake and
Redby.  She was a member of St. Mary's Mission Church and during the 1950s was
a member of the Redby Homemaker's Club.  She was the oldest living member of
the Sumner Eagle Clan. She is survived by two sons, Joseph (Darlene) Lussier
of Claremont and Randy Lussier of Sauk Rapids; four daughters, Anita (Al)
Wensman of Minneapolis, Donna (Jesse) Ellingworth of Coon Rapids, Norma
Lussier of Palm Springs, Calif., and Oriana (Dick) Brenny of Foley; 31
grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, and a brother, Robert Taylor of
Redlake.
   "She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Valentine; a grandson,
Jeffrey Lussier; two brothers, Loring Sumner and Louie Taylor; and a sister,
Eva Parkhurst."
