"Funeral services are 2 p.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in
Redlake with the Rev. William Mehrkens officiating. Burial will be at the
Catholic Cemetary in Redlake under the direction of Snustad Funeral Home of
Blackduck. A wake begins at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Red Lake Community
Center.
"Pallbearers are Gary Lussier, Joe Barrett Jr., Greg Barrett, Donald Graves
Jr., Lester Senoglee and Mary Morrison. Honorary pallbearers are Douglas
Cook, Bruce Jackson, Manuel Gurneau, Stuart Rainey, John Sundahl and Donald
Graves Sr.
"Mr. Morrison was born JUL 28, 1957 at Redlake, the son of Chester and
Mamie Morrision. He had lived the past 20 years in Minneapolis.
"He is survived by his parents of Redlake; a son, Joseph Morrison of
Minneapolis; three daughters, Rachel Sundahl, Maggie Sundahl and Marlys
Morrison, all of Minneapolis; a brother, Greg Morrison of Redlake, five
sisters, Diane Graves, JUN MAY, Marlys Morrison and Rhonda MAY, all of
Redlake, and Elaine Lone of Minneapolis; a special friend, Mari Sundahl of
Minneapolis."

Aygos Morrison was Chief of an Otter Tail band. He was living on the White
Earth Reservation in 1886 where he signed the [Northwest Commission] agreement.
He was said to be very influential with the Indians. His descendants lived on
the Wild Rice River in Norman County,
Minnesota.
