"Freddy L., King Sr., 39, of Redby died Sunday at the Public Health Service
Indian Hospital at Redlake.
"A funeral service is planned at 2 p.m. Friday at the Redby Community
Center. Interment will be at the Redby Lutheran Community Cemetery under the
care of the Snustad Funeral Home of Blackduck. A wake is to begin Wednesday
afternoon at the Redby Community Center.
"Mr. King was born SEP 11, 1949, on the Red Lake Reservation. He worked
as a tribal game warden. On JUN 28, 1980 he married Marion Wilson at Redby.
"He is survived by two sons, Kevin of Redby and Fred Jr. of Redlake; four
daughters, Marla of Redby and Christine, Karen and Lynette of Redlake; three
brothers, Archie of Minneapolis, August Jr. of Redby, and Richard of Amarillo,
Texas; a sister, Lucille of St. Paul; a half brother, Billy King, and three
grand-children."
