Sauteaux tribe from Buffalo Point in Canada. ... Chief Ay-ash-wash's mother,
Nah-wah-je-ge-shig-oquay, is given by Ransom Judd Powell as the head of family
#1 in his genealogies ... and shows him as having four other brothers and
sisters. He also shows Chief O-zow-we-ge-nay-big to have four wives and several
more children...
