"Gwen Donnell, daughter of Mr. Frank Donnell, and Mr. Gerald Lawrence, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Benedict Lawrence, all of Red Lake, were united in marriage on
Saturday, March 17, 1973, in Clearbrook, Minnesota. Mr. and Mrs. Louis
Contreras, sister and brother-in-law of the bride were the attendants.
"A reception followed at the home of the bride's sister, Mrs. Elaine
Schoenborn. Besides many local friends and relatives, out-of-town guests
attending the wedding were: Mr. and Mrs. Louis Contreras; Mr. and Mrs.
Nathaniel Bevins and family of Chicago, Illinois; Mary Jane Prentice, Philomene
Martin, Sidney Martin, Elizaeth Davette and Dustin Mason, Valete Pankow,
JRodney Prentice, Gloria Prentice, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Beaulieu and family,
John Martin and Lynette Lawrence, all of Minneapolis. Mr. and Mrs. John Long
of rural Blackduck were also in attendance.
"The wedding cake was baked by Mr. Benedict Lawrence. The couple received
many lovely gifts."
