age 62, at the White Earth Agency as a Chippewa of the White Earth Otter Tail
Pillagers. He signed the treaty of 1889 at age 62. He was living on the White
Earth Reservation as early as 1871. In the 1860 Otter Tail County census,
Pierre and Jane Bellanger and their children Henry, Nancy and Francois are
listed
